Each year, KTH Holding invests in a number of startup companies. The holding company strategy is to invest early in companies that stem from research and education at KTH.
These direct investments are aimed at finansially supporting companies in an early phase, when external venture capital is difficult to secure. Newly formed companies that come from the KTH innovation support process, and that meed the criteria to enter the business accelerator STING or equivalent incubation, is given a standardized offer of investment.
